Minutes for January 23, 2007

I. In our first meeting of the semester, Jason, Christina and Shivani spoke about their MCAT experiences. They presented powerpoints on their experience and I have attached each powerpoint. Take a look at them if you were not able to attend the meeting.

II. Do not forget about Cass Clinic Drive. It will be taking place February 19-23rd from 9am - 5pm in the Student Center near McD's. Begin to collect items to bring for donations. These items can include toiletries of any sort, preferably new items. I am going to attach the letter that you can take to doctors, neighbors, and friends to explain to them what Cass Clinic is and how they can help us.

III. There is a conference being held in Washington DC by the national organization of AMSA. For information about the conference, please visit www.amsa.org and locate the event on the front page of the site. For further information, please contact Jason at ak9416@wayne.edu

IV. We have contacted the directors at Detroit Receiving to improve our volunteer services. This week everyone should have a better experience than what they had last week. Good luck volunteering this week!

V. Capuchin will be taking place on Wednesdays this semester beginning on Wed. February 7. Keep an eye out for the sign up sheets.

VI. Uno Tournament sign up sheets are located on our forum. Please go there to sign up for dates.
